The social
class issue is one of the most important issue in Chilean society
Firstly,
the distribution of the income is absolutely unequal between the rich people
and the poor one, this fact makes it exist a big gap and differences extremely
important and contributes that the higher social class keep enriching and the
poor people keep getting poorer
In addition,
the power of money makes normal that the rich people discriminate to the poor
ones, this example can be appreciate when a mid-class person goes to a
cataloged high class place and the people see him like a weird person just
because the brand of his clothes and the way he or she looks
Finally in
a recent fact the results of the PSU shows the real differences between this
two far social class where the high class students and schools located in the
east of Santiago get the maximum scores in the test, instead the scores of the
mid and low social classes spread over much of the city are below the national
average. This fact show de inequality in the quality of education where in the
affluent sectors prepare their students to become the job boss while the poor
people study to become the workman. As we can see the differences are too big
and worrisome in the education and converts it from a right to a privilege
where the one who has more can stay with the best
