Since long time ago our country called Chile has been involved in a lot of protest. One of the most important protest in all Chilean history was "La Revolucion pingüina" in 2006, this revolution sought to erradicate the education installed by the dictatorship in Pinochet's goverment. This education is today what we called a neoliberal education encouraging the bussines and looking it as a benefit for pour people in Chile who doesn't have any monetary resources.
Chile is a country that is characterizaded by inequality in resources in general, so for many people it is very difficult to pay for a long educational process and the inequality in education quality it's very important so that if you pay more you will have better education quality.
If you ask me about my view about student strike i could not agree more, because students are the future of this country we as Chilean people are very bad in education and culture, there are some politicians who only cares money and his own benefit and we as students need to be an example to all other people to do the rights things.
Obviously it's important all students demands, but lately this protests has been eclipsed by violence acts, this is a very negative thing because other people thinks that is vandalism and the movement decreases. It is very important to do a pacifist revolution to have more followers to do a correct stike and will succesfull.
To do my last opinion it's important too to keep the unity of the movement, we are all in this strike to look for a more inclusive education and good for all, we need to be solidary with other people and fight for what is correct for all the people and the country in general
